Alpha Omega Computer Systems, Inc. was founded in 1977. The company originally was a software house concentrating on control software for plywood and lumber mills. We grew rapidly and diversified into industrial plant control and security and access control programs.
The minicomputers and electronics hardware of the late 1970s were inadequate for our needs, so the company expanded to include electronics and mechanical engineering. By the mid 1980s we were producing our own computer systems and related hardware to support our project needs.
We began development of custom oceanographic and remote data logging systems in response to requests from customers and a perceived demand for low cost reliable products. In the early 1990s we began incorporating satellite communications and terrestrial RF networks into our equipment. We specialized in very low power battery operated equipment, and as technology progressed our products became smaller and even lower powered.
In the 1990s and 2000s we produced a large variety of specialized production line test equipment for several large manufacturers. We also continued to develop products for oceanography, power monitoring, HVAC monitoring, elevator control and other diversified customers.
We have created products to work in just about every industrial and natural environment, from the Sahara Desert in summer, the South Pole in winter and in the ocean depths.
Since its beginning Alpha Omega has produced hundreds of software and hardware products for an extensive list of customers. Look at our lists of projects and customers to see what we have achieved so far. What can we do for you?
